Upward Bound Workshop 2025
Exploring the power of computational science
Upward Bound students get first-hand experience in our fifth annual summer workshop for high-performance computing taught by University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire staff volunteers. The Blugold Center for High-Performance Computing is collaborating with UW-Eau Claire’s Upward Bound program to share techniques used to process large amounts of data and perform complex calculations at high speed. The two primary workshop topics this year are split between "HPC" and "Research".
With this workshop, we hope to bring HPC and computational sciences to local high school students, potentially attracting bright minds to UW-Eau Claire.
Workshop Schedule
The workshop this year will be held in a single lecture hall for the entire day. Please bring your laptops / Chromebooks for the morning hands-on activities.
